Stuff Rachel Digs

Pretty much a blog of my random interests whether it comes to religion, diverse culture/traditions, music, art, fashion, movies, literature, etc.

Charan and Sandhya
So lately I’ve been redesigning the character designs of the characters from my one story with 5 billion characters (the one with Keena). Mainly because their designs were confused and mismatched pieces and parts from other characters I was interested in at the time and their names were just names that I thought sounded cool. Also all the regions and cultures of people had vague and nondescript cultural references, and uncreative ones at that. So I’ve been poking at the designs and trying to create actual cultures for the reasons.
These two, who are brother and sister, are from the Teles region, which as you can see has a large influence from Indian culture. I picture the colors to be very warm and the architecture very ornate and lavish. (lol their orginal names were Ciaran and Sakuya (what?) and they were kinda vaguely Japanese and wore confused “modern?” versions of kimonos, oh gosh, yeah I need to redesign these characters)
